Dialight VP to Speak on Lighting Controls Panel at Niagara Summit 2016

FARMINGDALE, N.J. (May 17, 2016)—Dialight (LSE: DAI.L) Vice President of Engineering and Technology Rizwan Ahmad will present on  the “Lighting Control Revisited” panel today at the Niagara Summit 2016 in New Orleans, LA at 1PM central time. The panel discussion will focus on ways to reduce energy consumption in retrofit and new building design by utilizing the latest lighting and controls technologies.

Ahmad will provide insight into LED lighting solution cost-effectiveness, efficiency and integration with controls systems. He will discuss the ease with which organizations can connect lighting systems to existing industrial automation and building management systems and how to leverage the data obtained to make organizations more effective.

Ahmad is a leader within the lighting and controls industry with 16years at Dialight. He has driven the development of the industry standard in long-life and ultra-efficient power supply platforms for LED lighting at Dialight. He also leads innovation for controls integration and connectivity of lighting systems to industrial automation, building and energy management systems.

Dialight recently launched enterprise software called DACS (Dialight Architecture for Control System) that allows for commissioning, grouping, and scheduling of the lights and sensors to control, monitor and manage lighting at the fixture, zone, facility and enterprise-wide level with a simple and secure dashboard interface. The system pairs with the company’s new automated demand response system (ADR) and wireless daylight harvesting sensors.
