Certified to the latest FAA requirements and compliant with ICAO and Transport Canada requirements, Dialight expands its RTO Series of L-810 obstruction lights to include AC and DC versions that make it even more eco-friendly.
Farmingdale, NJ – March 19, 2009 – The RTO Series of L-810 obstruction lights from applied LED technology specialist Dialight features a unique patent-pending optical, electrical and mechanical design that makes it the most universal, compact and efficient obstruction light in the world. Available as a single, dual or retro-fit unit for direct replacement of incandescent lamp/lens technology, its DC version running at only 3.5 W is ideal for solar applications or battery back-up, while at 6.5 W running off 120 – 277 VAC, 50-60 Hz, the AC version is the most environmentally friendly in its class.
With advanced high-flux LED technology and a 5-year performance warranty, Dialight’s RTO Series can be operated steady or flashed, lasts years longer than incandescent fixtures and uses 95% less energy. At 1.25 lbs per retro-fit unit and 2 lbs per single or 4.6 lbs per dual unit, this highly compact obstruction light is resistant to shock and vibration and able to withstand the dynamic conditions experienced in the most severe environments around the world.
Featuring a cast aluminum base and housing and aviation red UV resistant polycarbonate dome, the Dialight RTO Series has a self-contained wiring compartment with grounding terminals that eliminates the need for additional boxes. It has been tested in temperatures ranging from -40 to +55 degrees Celsius, direct sunlight, wind-blown rain, wind in excess of 150 mph, high humidity, salt and fog.
